Richard is a Chartered Surveyor having graduated in 1998 from the University of Glamorgan with a First Class Honours Degree in Estate Management. Richard first joined Brinsons in 1999, before spending three years working for the Bermuda branch of Coldwell Banker, a leading U.S. property firm, as a valuation and property management surveyor. Richard returned to Brinsons in 2006 as a Director. In recent years, he has opened a High Street agency in Cowbridge and in April 2020 split his Brinsons partnership and now owns and manages "Harris & Birt" based in Cowbridge, Cardiff and with a rural agency office in Bonvilston. Harris & Birt has become a leading South Wales Chartered Surveying & Estate Agency firm.
